Castellanos’ House
Castellanos' House is in Vedado, less than 200 meters from the Malecón Habanero, which makes it a special place to enjoy the natural beauty of Cuba, as well as the most important architectural works of the capital. It is in a very central area, near the Hotel “Meliá Cohíba”, the “Hotel Riviera” and the “Galerías de Paseo” Shopping Center. There are also several restaurants and theatres. It has a large area for internet communication via Wi-Fi.
We have 2 rooms, one of them has 2 double beds, while the other one has 1 double bed. The rooms have air-conditioning, a refrigerator, TV and a safe. The bathroom, shared by both rooms, is very spacious and has a bathtub, hot and cold water for 24 hours and hair dryer.
When a family rent only one room, the other room is automatically blocked to respect the privacy of the bathroom. In the case that the two rooms are rented by families or friends, they should share the bathroom. In total we accept 6 guests in the house.
We offer the guest the possibility of ordering a delicious continental breakfast for a price of 5 CUC per person. Similarly, we offer laundry service for a price of 5 CUC.
Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out at 11:00 a.m., but we are flexible in case we do not have other reservations.
Our guests also have access to other areas of the house, such as the terrace, the living room and the dining room. Our family enjoy staying with guests in a respectful, friendly and warm way. We are always willing to show our culture and Cuba. We communicate in Spanish, English, German, Russian and French. We are a couple of professionals in biological and physical sciences, lovers of good music and cinema, with 2 adult children. Our home inspires a lot of confidence to everyone who visits it, regardless of their nationality, sex, race or religion. It is a typical Cuban house, where you can chat about any topic without prejudice, feeling at your own home.
